Position the lower section and sleeve in the hole, facing the cleat in the desired direction. Pour concrete into the hole to fully encase the PVC plastic sleeve/spigot. It may be necessary to contact utility authorities for cable locations. Always DIAL BEFORE YOU DIG – call 1100. Avoid flying flags in extreme wind conditions. Do not use flags larger than 1800x900mm on this pole. Exercise caution during electrical storms and refrain from touching the pole. For added security, wrap the halyard/rope once around the flagpole before cleating when the flag is flying.
